Android App to Host PS4 4.55 Exploit and Payloads by Stooged

I put together an Android app to host the 4.55 exploit and payloads.

You have to setup a wifi hotspot with your phone/tablet and connect the PS4 to that hotspot or connect the phone/tablet to the same network the PS4 is on.

Then install the app…

For a limited time, Dyson’s eBay outlet is taking an extra 20% off any $25 order (maximum $50 discount) with promo code PSTARTEARLY, including vacuums, fans, and even hair dryers. They sell a lot of new stuff on eBay, but the best deals are on the refurbs. Either way, they’re sold directly by Dyson; this isn’t a…

The Moon is Getting 4G Coverage

Reuters is reporting that Vodaphone and Nokia are teaming up to put the first mobile phone network on the moon next year. The reason? Unfortunately not a theme park (yet), but to stream high-definition video from the lunar landscape back to earth. Nokia is developing space-grade 4G networking hardware that weighs less than a bag of sugar ,and is scheduled to be launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in 2019.

I’m just gonna say, I have to use one of those “mobile Hotspots” to get 4g at my house over my internet. The moon will have better cell service than my house.

One executive involved said the decision to build a 4G network rather a state-of-the-art 5G network was taken because the next generation networks remain in the testing and trial stage and are not stable enough to ensure they would work from the lunar surface.

James Webb Telescope sun shield snags, further launch delays likely

A new report on the James Webb Space Telescope has found that ongoing technical issues with final testing and assembly of the $8.8 billion project will probably cause the launch date of the oft-delayed instrument to slip again to the right. Presently, NASA is targeting June 2019 for launch aboard an Ariane 5 rocket.

The US Government Accountability Office published the report on Wednesday. It concluded, “Given several ongoing technical issues, and the work remaining to test the spacecraft element and complete integration of the telescope and spacecraft, combined with continuing slower-than-planned work at Northrop Grumman, we believe that the rescheduled launch window is likely unachievable.”

The report catalogs a number of issues that Northrop Grumman has dealt with during the integration process, particularly the technical challenges and workforce issues needed to meet them. For example, the report cites a worrying problem that cropped up during one of the tests to deploy the telescope’s essential sunshield—one of its six membrane tensioning systems experienced a potentially crippling “snag.”

Guy Makes Functional 2 X 2 Rubik's Cube Out Of Cheddar

cheese-rubiks-cube.jpg

This is a video of Rubik’s Cubist Tony Fisher (of world’s largest and smallest and burning candle and ice Rubik’s Cube fame) demonstrating the predominately edible (minus the plastic turning mechanism in the middle) 2 X 2 Rubik’s Cube he made out of cheddar cheese. Plus he used colored thumbtacks to identify the sides for EXTRA DELICIOUSNESS. “Your mouth is bleeding.” It’s cool, I’ve been low on iron anyways. “But…it’s your own blood.” You’re not a doctor, I don’t expect you to understand how this stuff works. Of course what Tony should have made is a 3 X 3 Rubik’s Cube where every side is a different meat or cheese, that way he could sell them for a small fortune as meat & cheese appetizer plates at fancy restaurants. Man, I’m just full of genuinely great ideas today, what do you think it is? “New GW?” Does it make you feel good inside knowing I have talk about you with my therapist every week?

Keep going for the video.

A Very Impressive Garbage Pail Kids 'Adam Bomb' Cake

garbage-pail-kid-adam-bomb-cake-1.jpg

How about that — two cake posts only separated by an article about a talking bird’s birthday, what are the odds?! “Knowing you, pretty good.” Right you are, I don’t even know why I mentioned it. These are several photos and a timelapse video of Natalie of Sideserf Cake Studio meticulously creating a cake of Adam Bomb, the most iconic of all Garbage Pail Kids. Although, technically, his body and head are actually made entirely out of modeling chocolate, only the explosion’s plume is cake. Based on watching the video, if you want a cake that’s had every square millimeter of it touched by human hands as much as possible, this is clearly the way to go. Not that I have a problem with that, because I don’t. There’s no doubt in my mind that Natalie is incredibly hygienic, unlike most people I know. GROSS FACT: Did you know that approximately only one in three men wash their hands after using the restroom, and only 40% of those use soap? Sick, right? That’s exactly why I don’t shake hands anymore. Like, the only thing between some dude waving his penis at a urinal and shaking my hand was going to be a bathroom door handle. “Somebody should invent a hand-sanitizing bathroom door handle.” Holy shit — to Shark Tank! Let me do the talking though, it was basically my idea anyways.

Keep going for a couple more shots and the video.

MSI Reveals Vigor GK80 and GK70 Gaming Keyboards: Cherry Red RGB Switches, Aluminum Chassis

Today MSI has revealed two new keyboards adding to its Gaming Gear line of peripherals in the Vigor GK70 and GK80 Gaming keyboards. Both keyboards feature a base constructed of anodized aluminum and feature Cherry MX Red RGB LED switches. Each individual key can be customized through the Mystic Light software. These are also part of the Mystic Light Sync ecosystem able to synchronize colors and effects with other RGB peripherals and components.

Compared to the GK40 we saw in January, the GK80 is a notably smaller and does without the extra frame and integrated wrist wrest surrounding the keys. The GK40 also used ‘mechanical-like’ membrane type switches and six zone RGB LED control whereas the new GK80 uses Cherry MX RGB LED switches and per-key RGB illumination. Clearly, the GK80 will be the more premium product of the two.

The GK70/80 has 100% anti-ghosting along with N-Key rollover for all keys in gaming mode, six keys in standard mode. Both keyboards also have hotkeys able to control for MSI Gaming motherboards and graphics cards. They will be able to use the three performance modes (Silent, Gaming, OC) for each without having to jump out of the game.

The GK80 has dedicated media keys at the top right to access volume controls, mute, a play/pause. Also located by the media keys on the back is an integrated USB pass-through port used to connect additional peripherals (USB 2.0 500mAh charging). The GK70 differs from the GK80 in size with and is a bit smaller with a Tenkeyless layout (loses the number pad). Outside of that, the GK70 does not have the dedicated media keys or the USB pass-through like its big brother does, but shares its other features.

Both the GK70 and GK80 include similar accessories with additional keycaps and a key puller. Included are four metal Zinc Alloy tipped keys (for A/S/W/D) and 12 double injection keycaps with an anti-slip rubber textured surface MSI calls Dragon Scale texture. The extra keycaps are stored in the backside of the detachable palm rest – a pretty unique location.

Both the MSI Vigor GK80 and GK70 Gaming Keyboards are expected to be in stores worldwide beginning in March 2018. The GK80 is currently priced at $153.39 and the GK70 is priced at $124.33 at Newegg which does put them in the premium gaming keyboard segment.

Who’s a good clone? Barbra Streisand had beloved dog copied—but not exactly

Over tea in her Malibu estate, Barbra Streisand sat for an interview with Variety recently to discuss her storied career, the #MeToo movement, and breaking the glass ceiling in Hollywood. But in the meandering exchange, she inadvertently dropped some petri-dish cracking news as well: she had her late, beloved dog cloned.

Between a quick mention of future directing projects and an insult of President Donald Trump, the article breezily notes that two of her three Coton de Tulear dogs are clones of her previous dog Samantha, who died in 2017 at the age of 14. The two clones, Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett, were created from cells collected from Samantha’s mouth and stomach. The third dog, Miss Fanny, is reportedly a distant cousin.

In appearance, the duplicate doggos are identical to Samantha as well as to each other. To tell them apart, Streisand fitted them with different colored attire—purple for one and red for the other—which was her inspiration for their names.
