Earlier today, the group managed to get hold of Pichai’s Quota account, which in turn, gave them access to his Twitter feed as well. In a statement to The Next Web, the group said that their intention is to just test people’s security, and that they never change the victim’s passwords. The Voice Cast of The Lego Ninjago Movie Is Probably Better Than It Needs to Be

It’s kind of mindblowing to think there are multiple Lego movies on the horizon. There’s the 2019 sequel to The Lego Movie, a Batman-centric spinoff in 2017, and The Lego Ninjago Movie, based on the absurdly popular ninja-themed Lego brand. It hits next fall and the voice cast has just been revealed.

Look At All The Pretty Colors!: Exploding Spray Paint Cans In Ultra Slow Motion

This is a video of the Slow Mo Guys exploding a bunch of spray paint cans at 2,500 frames per second. They’re fun to watch dance around while their colorful lifeblood quickly drains from them. They shoot some, axe some, sledgehammer some. They don’t bite any open though, which is a shame because that would have really been something. You know when I was in middle school a friend bet me to bite a firecracker and let it explode in my mouth. I did, and it didn’t even hurt. Just kidding it hurt really bad and I thought I blew a hole in my cheek but I’ll still bite a small pile of bang-snaps for a dollar.
Keep going for the video.

Best Buy Testing "In-Home Consultants"
I don’t want to be a dick (here it comes), but no one wants Best Buy in their homes now, what makes the company think this will work? Seriously, if people wanted this kind of service from Best Buy, the Geek Squad would already be doing this. Oh wait, they do all this already.
Now the Richfield-based electronics retailer is testing in a handful of markets a new in-home consulting service. Armed with a tablet, the adviser helps customers troubleshoot issues such as improving their wireless speed for faster streaming and can also recommend a whole host of products for the kitchen or throughout the home.

.NET Core 1.0 released, now officially supported by Red Hat

Version 1.0 of .NET Core, the open source, cross-platform .NET runtime platform that was first announced in 2014, has been released today. .NET Core is arriving alongside ASP.NET Core 1.0, the open source, cross-platform version of Microsoft’s Web development stack.
Microsoft picked an unusual venue to announce the release: the Red Hat Summit. One of the purposes of .NET Core was to make Linux and OS X into first-class supported platforms, with .NET developers able to reach Windows, OS X, Linux, and (with Xamarin) iOS and Android, too. At the summit today, Red Hat announced that this release would be actively supported by the company on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
After many years of non-cooperation between Microsoft and the largest of the open source commercial Linux companies, Microsoft and Red Hat announced a new partnership in November 2015. This union heralded official support for Red Hat virtual machines in Azure and closer cooperation on .NET. Full support for .NET Core 1.0 marks the next step in that partnership.

Sergey Brin: Don't Come To Silicon Valley To Start a Business
An anonymous reader shares a Business Insider report:If you’re itching to start a company out of a garage, then you shouldn’t pick up and move to Silicon Valley, according to Google cofounder Sergey Brin. It’s easier to start a company outside the Valley than in it, he said onstage at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. “I know that sort of contradicts what everyone here has been saying,” he said with a laugh. “During the boom cycles, the expectations around the costs — real estate, salaries — the expectations people and employees have … it can be hard to make a scrappy initial business that’s self-sustaining,” he said. “Whereas in other parts of the world you might have an easier time for that.”But he adds that Silicon Valley is good for scaling that opportunity.
