To paraphrase Robin Williams, buying a $2.8 million supercar is God’s way of telling you that you’re making too much money. And yet there’s a certain thrill in picking out the red leather trim that goes so well with a black carbon fiber shell. Becaus…

Man Cooks The Regular Show's 'Ultimeatum', A Burger Inside A Burger With Burgers For Buns

This is a video of Youtuber Binging With Babish cooking The Regular Show’s ‘Ultimeatum’, a cheeseburger stuffed inside a cheeseburger with two deep fried cheeseburgers as buns, plus special Himalayan ketchup. His first attempt turns out rather poorly due to the fact it has has ‘burger buns soaked in meat juice’ cooked inside a hamburger patty. He then makes a modified version without the buns inside a burger that includes bonus bacon and pastrami (since it is called the Ultimeatum) that turned out ‘absolutely amazing.’ Now I’m hungry. “For human blood?” How did you know? “You’re gnawing on that man’s arm.” He tastes like not showering.
Keep going for the video. Reveal of the first burger at 2:40, the second on at 3:30.

This Naked Tomato Salad May Replace Your Caprese

I remember the first time I bit into a cherry tomato. I was at a Sizzler. I was seven. A boy was present. I was talking a lot, as I am wont to do, when I casually popped the mini ‘mato in my mouth. My teeth pierced the skin, it exploded with much force, and seeds and tomato gel sprayed forth. I was so embarrassed that…

F1 2017 review: Codemasters has given us another cracking game
Enlarge (credit: Codemasters)
When Codemasters released F1 2016 last year, it was my surprise hit of the year. DiRT Rally proved that the studio’s new EGO engine was right up there with the very best, and here was a Formula 1 title that combined plenty of realism and difficulty with a game that was also sheer fun to play. Since then the sport itself has undergone quite a shake up. It’s under new ownership, and the cars have more downforce and better tires. There’s even a bit more competition; these days we can go into a Grand Prix weekend without knowing that a Mercedes win is almost certain.
And with all that, there’s a new F1 game, the logically titled F1 2017. It captures the current technical changes to the sport, but the folks at Codemasters have done more than just tweak tire widths and downforce levels. The big question is whether that’s enough to make it worth purchasing a new game.

China Regulator To Review Apple Antitrust Complaint
China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce is reviewing an antitrust complaint accusing Apple of abusing its dominant position in smartphone applications, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. From the report: The regulator is studying the information following a complaint filed on behalf of developers before deciding if a formal investigation is necessary, said the people, who asked not to be named because the matter isn’t public. The review is preliminary and Chinese antitrust agencies usually review such information before deciding whether a official probe is needed. Beijing-based law firm Daxiao, or Dare & Sure, said earlier this month it filed complaints on the developers’ behalf to the SAIC and the National Development and Reform Commission. The lawyers accused Apple of removing apps without a proper explanation and taking an excessive 30 percent cut of in-app transactions, it said in an Aug. 8 statement. The law firm now represents close to 50 developers, producing games and a number of other apps, according to Lin Wei, managing partner of Dare & Sure.
