Sony was vague about when PlayStation Now would reach PCs, but apparently you didn’t have to wait long at all — it’s available today. If you have a sufficiently beefy Windows PC (a 3.5GHz Core i3 or better), you can stream PS3 games to your compute…

Just Look at This Freaking Giant Black Slug

Gulp. Just look at how ridiculous this thing looks. It’s a giant black sea slug known as a sea hare and it’s freaking monstrous. You don’t really hold it in your hand as much as the sea hare, which can grow up to over 3 feet long and weigh over 30 pounds, just swallows your entire arm. Brave Wilderness found the black sea hare in the tide pools off the coast of the Pacific Ocean in San Pedro, CA and described holding it as super slimy and unbelievably slippery.

Rest In Peace ITT Tech, You Bastards

If you grew up in the 90s, you probably saw one of the legendary ITT Technical Institute commercials in the wee hours of the morning. Now, you’ll probably never see one again.

Well That Sucks: Lightning Strike Takes Out Over 300 Reindeer In Norway

323 reindeer are dead in Norway after a fierce rainstorm and lightning strike electrocuted them right where they stood. Apparently reindeer instinctively huddle during storms, which made the 323-birds-with-one-stone shot possible.
Officials surmised that an extremely high discharge of electricity from the storm on Friday afternoon — and the interaction of the lightning with the earth and water — had electrocuted the animals.
“The lightning was fierce, the amount of water pouring down that day was incredible, and the whole group was found dead at the scene, placed as they usually are, huddled into a group, with some standing in two lines on the side and a larger congregation in the middle,” he said. “They were standing on a hill, moving up that hill. They seem to have fallen dead on the ground, exactly where they stood.”
Now I’m not saying it’s pretty clear that God did this to get back at Santa for constantly overshadowing his son’s birthday, but it’s really the only logical explanation if you think about it. I didn’t get this plastic detective badge out of a 25-cent machine after all. It was a dollar.
Thanks to Stephanie B, who picked lightning as her superpower. I was drunk and picked the ability chew gum so it never loses its flavor.

Black Panther and Black Widow Have a War of Words in This Short But Sweet Civil War Deleted Scene

Civil War had a lot of fun stuff in it, but its pitch-perfect introduction of the Black Panther
is one of our absolute favorite parts. This new deleted scene featuring him and Black Widow having a loaded little chat is certainly no exception to the film’s rule that T’Challa basically has to be awesome in every scene he’s in.

GTA V Players Have Spent 2016 Trying To Destroy A Possibly Indestructible Dam

GTA players have chased bigfoot
, hunted for jetpacks
, stared at a face in a mountainside, and, at one point, tried to pinpoint a sewer dwelling human/rat creature. Recently, the obsessions of hardcore GTA V fans have turned slightly more bizarre, with some players latching onto the idea that maybe, just maybe, they can blow up an in-game dam.

Google's Close To Beating Amazon, Microsoft For a Major Cloud Client: Sources
An anonymous reader shares a CNBC report: Google’s aggressive push into cloud computing, where it trails Amazon.com and Microsoft, has put the internet giant in the lead position to land a marquee client: PayPal. While Google is the front-runner, according to people familiar with the matter, PayPal is evaluating the other leading providers and hasn’t made any final decisions. PayPal is unlikely to move its technology infrastructure in the fourth quarter, the peak period for online commerce, said the sources, who asked not to be named because the talks are confidential. Under the leadership of VMware co-founder Diane Greene, Google is out to prove that it’s a legitimate player in the rapidly expanding cloud infrastructure market.

Could the Warcraft Sequel Not Open in the U.S.?

Duncan Jones’ Warcraft was not a success in the United States—based on a reported $160 million budget, it made only $47 million here. Internationally, however, it grossed almost 10 times that. This leads us to two questions: what happened and what’s next ?

Testing The Open-Source "RADV" Radeon Vulkan Driver vs. AMDGPU-PRO
With word coming out last week that the RADV open-source Vulkan driver can now render Dota 2 correctly, I’ve been running some tests the past few days of this RADV Vulkan driver compared to AMD’s official (but currently closed-source) Vulkan driver bundled with the AMDGPU-PRO Vulkan driver.

Living in Silicon Valley Sounds Like a Nightmare

The housing situation has gotten so ridiculous in Palo Alto, the original home of Facebook and Google, that there’s a studio up for sale for a cool $1.3 million dollars. Bloomberg says that’s totally normal. Good luck using your phone in your stupid overpriced studio, because cell service is a total shit show.

Spend the Rest of the Summer Floating Around on a Giant Cockroach

If you woke up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night yesterday, panicked that there wasn’t enough time left this summer to float around on a giant six-feet long inflatable cockroach, do not worry. There is still plenty of time to disgust everyone at the beach or local your pool with this disturbingly life-like inflatable.
