I totally expected a supercut of touching in movies to be a bit on the creepy side but this compilation actually handles it with a surprising amount of grace. It includes some meaningful touchy scenes like Finn holding a light saber for the first time in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, fingers grazing the ring in Lord of The Rings, Ava in Ex Machina feeling her own prototype mounted on a wall, Wall-E and EVE embracing and so on.

Don't Look Away: Fighting Sexual Harassment in the Scifi/Fantasy Community

I was a guest of honor at a large convention when a drunk con-goer grabbed my ass as I exited the elevator. By the time my brain got past “Wait, did that just happen?” the elevator had closed. I told myself it wasn’t a big deal. It’s not like I’d been in real physical danger. This was just one brief interaction… but it soured what should have been a wonderful event. I kept looking around to try to spot my harasser so I might be able to identify them. I spent the rest of the weekend feeling angry and on edge.

Vienna Airport Says Glitch That Disrupted Dozens Of Flights Resolved

On Sunday, Vienna Airport was at the receiving end of a number of flight delays and cancellations due to data transmission issues. On Monday, it announced that all the issues have been resolved
. Reuters reports:”Austrian air traffic control has solved the issue,” the airport said on its website early on Monday. “At the moment there are no delayed or canceled flights. We advise passengers to contact their airline.” The automated transfer of flight planning data between air traffic control centers in Brussels and Vienna collapsed completely for a while on Sunday afternoon, said a spokesman for Austro Control, which monitors Austrian air space.

Apple Announces Event On September 7: iPhone 7, Apple Watch 2 Expected

New iPhones are coming, Apple hinted today. The Cupertino-based giant announced on Monday that it will host an event on September 7. The rumor mill suggests that the company would announce as many as three iPhones — the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and the iPhone 6 SE. Recent reports suggest that Apple may also announce the second-generation of Apple Watch. No new iPads are expected. The company is widely rumored to refresh its Mac lineup — though they are likely to be launched at a later point. The biggest talk point around the iPhone 7 has been the headphone jack — or its lack thereof.

T-Mobile Updates Details About Its New Unlimited Plan, Which Is Now More Confusing
