Scary Halloween Decoration Pulled From Shelves After Complaints

This is the $30 Scary Peeper Creeper Halloween decoration that was recently pulled from the shelves of Canadian Home Depots after disturbing a number of shoppers (although still available online HERE, also available as a motion-activated version that taps on the window). Admittedly, that would be terrifying to see out a dark window and I would have no choice but to jump-kick through that window or have a heart attack and die, whichever comes first.

This Halloween prop was designed to be used as a prank, but it received customer complaints and one of them even contacted CBC News. “I fail to see the humour in it,” Breanne Hunt-Wells, a concerned teacher and mother of two, said during her interview. “It makes light of a very serious crime. Voyeurism is a crime in Canada.”

Long story short I just boarded up all my windows with plywood so I don’t have to worry about getting pranked like this. Or worry about real peeper creepers. That’s also why I have a guard dog. And by guard dog I mean direwolf and motion-activated laser turrets. “What’s up with the moat?” Filled with flesh-melting acid.

Keep going for a couple more shots and a video of people being pranked with it, as well as a video of the animated tapping version.
