Man Explores 'Abandoned' Blockbuster Store In Texas

abandoned-blockbuster.jpg

This is a video of a guy exploring an “abandoned” Blockbuster store in South Texas. SPOILER SPOILER TWIST ENDING SPOILER LIKE YOU WERE ACTUALLY GOING TO WATCH THE WHOLE THING TO THE END LIKE I DID ANYWAYS: It’s not really abandoned, he works there. There are about fifty Blockbuster franchises still open in the United States, twelve of which are in Alaska, seven in Oregon, and fourteen in Texas. But don’t let that stop you from showing this video to a friend (just make sure to stop it before he unveils his Blockbuster shirt and name tag at 4:00) and convincing them to break into a building and film it. I sent my roommate out after dinner last night to explore a bank I assured him closed a couple years ago. Still no word from him, so I’m assuming I have a bedroom available for rent now. Well, not a whole bedroom, but one partitioned in half with one of those hospital curtains. It’s cool, I’m a quiet sleeper.

Hit the jump for the video and count how many times you can spot post 2011-2014 Blockbuster store closing movie titles and games because you’re a super-sleuth.
