This is the first full reveal of Pennywise the Dancing Clown’s look from the upcoming Stephen King’s It movie. Pennywise will be portrayed by 26-year old Bill Skarsgård, a departure from the 44-year old Tim Curry who played him in the 1990 television miniseries. They’re also remaking Splash with Channing Tatum playing the mermaid and Jillian Bell playing Tom Hanks’ character. So, what do you think of Pennywise? I like his old-timey outfit. Still, there’s no question that is not a face you want peering back at you from a storm drain. Truthfully, I never even saw It until I couple years ago because it took me so long to get over my childhood fear of scary movies. I feel like when I was a kid laying in bed at night all I remember were the sounds of my parents playing the Horror Movie Channel. That, or our house was haunted and we lived in a neighborhood where a stabbing was the new hello. I’d say it’s 50/50.
