Look At You!: Googly Eyed Cuttlefish Amazes Scientists

googly-eyed-cuttlefish.jpg

This is a video from the unmanned sea rover Nautilus spotting a googly-eyed cuttlefish some 900-meters (~2,950-feet) deep off the coast of California (previously: a mystery purple blob and unusually large Dumbo octopus). Just look at those eyes! It looks like they were bought at Michael’s and glued on. Man, it’s animals like this that make me wish I could sit down and have a conversation with Mother Nature. And if that conversation turned into a shouting match about why she made my penis so small, well, she can’t see she didn’t see it coming.

Keep going for the video, then wish you’d followed your dreams and become a marine biologist.
