This is single-player gaming done right. Through its excellent story, great combat, and beautiful open world full of quality content, God of War reaches a level that many other games, especially nowadays, promise but fail to achieve, and it does so without any tacked-on multiplayer, loot boxes, or boring fetch quests that are added in simply to lengthen play time.
