When it comes to preparing a wheel for a NASCAR pit stop, the goal is a lot like the reoccurring theme Goldilocks kept stumbling upon—the glue holding lug nuts on the wheel can’t be too brittle or too syrupy. It has to be just right, or else it could become a competition disaster.
