This is a video demonstration of the DURUS robot, which was designed to walk as human-like as possible. Why? Presumably to be even scarier when it’s chasing you down. Sure tank treads would be more efficient, but it’s way creepier to see a robot RUNNING after you. Plus when it steals somebody’s head and wraps itself in their skin it will finally fulfill it’s dream of being a person. And that’s what all robots want, right — to be people? That’s why the tin man in The Wizard Of Oz wanted a heart. Don’t act like I’m not making sense here.
