The FDA approved a genetic test from 23andMe that can tell you whether you have any of three specific mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes that increase your risk of breast cancer. But these are only three of over 1000 such mutations in BRCA genes, and they aren’t even the most common ones.
