Love and Deathmatch in VR

Just when you thought your were lonely on Valentine’s Day, RowdyGuy ups the ante with Oculus’ Fall in Love. Who ever said that chicks are better at listening got it all wrong, at least in VR.

Falling in love is one of the most intoxicating human experiences. Inspired by the “The 36 Questions that Lead to Love,” the goal of Fall In Love is to foster authentic human conversation in VR and to inspire people to feel an emotional connection with others. People will put on a headset and be transported to a whimsical forest where they come face to face with a group of actors, who they can then have a conversation with through voice recognition software.

While this is all great, PvP deathmatch in Raw Data is a lot better.

We did a VR Arena tech test this last weekend at The Frag and you can see a lot of the raw streaming foot below, all three hours of it if you are so inclined.
