If you have become to rely on Google Cloud Platform services, its App Engine Firewall is now in the wild and ready for testing. This is still a beta release and Google advises against using it in production environments. I am fairly sure there are some HardOCP readers that will find this immediately useful.
The App Engine firewall enables you to control access to your App Engine app through a set of rules that can either allow or deny requests from the specified ranges of IP addresses.
Create a firewall to: Allow only traffic from within a specific network – Allow only traffic from a specific service – Block abusive IP addresses
