These are a pair of vintage cowboy boot roller skates available for sale. I’m not sure if they were custom made or somebody actually manufactured these in the past, but I want a pair. *does some internet sleuthing (read: Googles ‘cowboy roller skates’ one time)* Okay, turns out a beautiful man named John Wayne Fedderson Jr. has a business turning cowboy boots into roller skates (WaynesWesternWheels.com, website currently down for improvements, but still contactable via phone or Facebook). So, mystery solved. Or maybe Wayne didn’t make this particular pair, in which case, whatever, I stopped caring before I even started writing this sentence, which is more than likely a run-on by now if I’m not mistaken, although I could be, but I doubt it. So yeah, cowboy boot roller skates. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? “We start a roller skate square dancing class?!” Holy shit, YES — you read my mind! Now, look around up there for where I left my house keys.
Keep going for a couple more shots, including some of Wayne’s much more colorful creations. Also, is that a middle toe ring in the second picture down?
