This is a video of thrillseekers and GoPro athletes (that’s a thing?) Benny Marr and Rush Sturges (with a name like Rush you have to be into extreme sports) speeding down a drainage ditch at Lions Bay in British Columbia, Canada in a tandem kayak. Apparently people ride the ditch regularly, but this was the first time it was done in a tandem kayak. Because if you’re going to die, bring a friend. It all looks pretty thrilling, especially when they have to duck under that low-hanging branch at 2:16 to prevent getting clotheslined. Personally, I purposefully wouldn’t have ducked just so I can finally find out if I’m really as stretchy as Mister Fantastic, or if that was just a dream.
Keep going for the video, but skip to 2:00 unless you came here to watch people hike and talk.
