This is a video demonstration of the Portal app that game developer KennyW created for Microsoft’s HoloLens augmented reality system to help bring the game into the real world. The future: we’re getting there. Not soon enough though, because I did just will an asteroid to destroy earth later this month after I got upset on the phone with my cable provider’s customer service. I may have been overreacting (I did get HBO free for a year), but what’s done is done. It’s been nice knowing you. “Wish I could say the same.” Wow — even in the face of imminent death you’re still a dick to me. Don’t think I won’t remember that when I’m the devil’s second-in-command.
