This is a video from the folks at Youtube channel Warped Perception of popcorn popping filmed at 30,000FPS, or about 1,250x slower than real time. I learned a lot by watching it. Mostly just how much popcorn looks like styrofoam. I’m not a big popcorn fan. Occasionally I’ll have a handful at the movie theater, but I’m not paying for it, I’m scooping it off the floor. “You’re disgusting.” Hey — does this look like a Mike And Ike or somebody’s multivitamin?
