This is a short video of Coquina clams emerging from the sand to feed and breed. It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. It’s not though, it’s out of real life in Topsail Island, North Carolina. I wish I was at the beach right now. You know, just not when this is happening. Maybe when a topless mermaid is singing from a giant rock in the tide. That would be nice. Just as long as she’s not a really a siren and luring me out to see to get eaten by a shark. Just kidding, that’s fine, just as long as I see a titty before I die. Is it true mermaids have starfish shaped nipples? My high school biology teacher sent me to the principal’s office for asking. What happened to there being no such thing as a stupid question?!
