Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest– “The hotdog.” You’re damn right.
(Also I know it’s supposed to be ‘Magic Mirror, on the wall’ but whatever I like perpetuating misinformation that is like one of my things)

5-year old Ainsley recently showed up for princess day at the Holly Springs School of Dance in North Carolina dressed as a hotdog. Heck yeah, Hotdog Princess, she’s my favorite too. I also like Onion Ring Princess And Beef Jerky Princess. Per dance instructor Sarah Nativi:

Well, the last few weeks of dance class we let the girls dress up and this week was Princess Week, so we were expecting all of the girls to come in their princess dresses.

“She loves princesses, but she wanted to be original and wear a hot dog costume instead,” she said. “She wore a princess costume underneath it and said she was a princess on the inside!”

Princess on the inside, hotdog on the outside — that’s exactly how I feel about myself too, Ainsley. When I look in the mirror I see hotdog, but when I look into my soul, I see princess. When I look into my heart I see a coal-black abyss incapable of love. If the Grinch’s original heart was the sun, mine would be a speck of space-dust on Pluto. Never do acid and spend any time in front of a mirror, that’s the real lesson here.
