A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched this morning carrying NASA’s Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) that will explore the most extreme and mysterious objects in the universe. Those objects will include supernova remnants, supermassive black holes, and dozens of other high energy objects.
