Earlier today, reports started emerging that SK Hynix was in final talks to acquire Intel’s NAND storage unit. Late tonight, the news has been confirmed by both parties and a deal has been reached. SK Hynix has agreed to purchase Intel’s NAND memory and storage businesses for a total $9 billion.
