It looks as though the leak from Canadian carrier Telus was accurate: August 22nd is indeed the official launch day for Android 7.0 Nougat. Google confirmed the news this afternoon, and announced that supported Nexus devices will begin receiving the update in waves over the coming weeks.

Nexus 5X
Nexus
