On his Twitter page, former AMD employee Darren McPhee announced that he is joining Intel’s new graphics team. OC3D was one of the first sites to spot the Tweet, and they say that McPhee “worked for ATI Technologies between 2003 until AMD acquired the company in 2007. After the acquisition, McPhee worked for AMD until October 2015, after which he worked for DM17 Marketing Solutions and BlueCat.” Darren McPhee will presumably be working with former AMD employees Raja Koduri and Chris Hook, and Intel also hired Jim Keller earlier this year. During his time at AMD, McPhee was responsible for some remarkable marketing campaigns, like the “Fixer” video below:
