Considering the amount of hype that led to the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX series, it seemed obvious that the cards were going to be mighty elusive once they hit retail. That turned out to be just the case, although perhaps less surprising than the lack of availability was the lack of cards being sold for NVIDIA’s suggested price of $999.
