A new version of GPU-Z can detect fake Nvidia GPUs. Cheap, maliciously mislabled GPUs from questionably reputable retailers are a common sight online, but GPU-Z will now detect mislabled Nvidia GPUs and append “[FAKE]” to the graphics card’s name field. Among other things, the new version of GPU-Z also supports Turing BIOS saving, multiple fan monitoring, and correct RX 400 series GPU utilization.
Added detection for fake graphics cards using old relabeled NVIDIA GPUs (G84, G86, G92, G94, G96, GT215, GT216, GT218, GF108, GF106, GF114, GF116, GF119, GK106)
