An Intel employee has disclosed the 905P Optane M.2 SSD will finally be available for purchase at e-retailers next month. Originally launched and demonstrated during a Computex keynote in June, this PCI-Express 3.0 x4 NVMe variant will offer “up to 2600 MB/s reads, up to 2200 MB/s writes, and 575k/550k 4K random access speeds.”
