Warframe developers Digital Extremes showcased their new expansion at its Tennocon event, which is based on the planet Venus. This is the second open world style planet that has been added to Warframe, and features new toys such as hoverboard transportation, new enemies, pets, and landscapes. If the prospects of performing SSX Tricky stunts off mountain tops hasn’t floored you then this announcement just might.

There is a new game mode called Railjack that is in development featuring CO-OP with FTL (Faster Than Light) style game play. Railjack loosely brings the original trilogy of Star Wars movies to life within the game spaceship gameplay. During Tennocon, one person became the captain of the ship and others manned the ship and its rear guns. When things go south and the ship is boarded, the captain abandoned the front guns and starts micromanaging the health of the ship. Another crew member starts putting out fires and fighting off the intruders while a third infiltrates the enemy ship and destroys the shield generator. This gives the captain time to fire the kill shot that destroys the enemy ship.

Warframe is a darn good game and F2P (Fee to Play). I have 2890 hours logged in the game according to Steam. The Venus expansion coverage starts at the 17:45 mark, and the Railjack homage to Star Wars starts at the 39:00 mark in the video.
