It appears that Intel has today given us the first confirmation of upcoming 9th generation Core processors. While it was previously assumed that Intel’s 9th generation Core family would be built using 10nm process technology (which has seen numerous delays), it appears that the first parts will be part of a Coffee Lake Refresh.
