This is basically the 6-core 8700K with bit of extra headroom in terms of clocks, with a Turbo Boost clock of 5GHz. The new 8-Core Ryzen 7 2700X is selling for $320, comes with a cooler, and as we have found, its Precision Boost 2 works exceptionally well.
