Have you ever watched someone click on one of those Facebook games, or surveys, or some other seemingly endless applications that then ask for a laundry list of access to the account? Have no fear as a bunch of those apps are getting the axe as reported by Reuters. And if you signed off on those apps having all that access, you have no one to blame but yourself….mom!



The apps were suspended pending a thorough investigation into whether they misused any data, said Ime Archibong, Facebook’s vice president of product partnerships.

Facebook said it has looked into thousands of apps till date as part of an investigation that Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg announced on March 21.
