We are sure that you remember Tyler Raj Barriss being arrested in Los Angeles and being extradited to Kansas to stand trial for the death of a man that he swatted back in January.
Tyler Barriss, AKA SWAuTistic, the 25-year-old serial “swatter” whose phony call to Kansas police resulted in the fatal shooting of Andrew Finch is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter; giving false alarm, notifying emergency services and interfering with a law enforcement officer, and falsely reporting a felony. Barriss is currently being held in the Sedgwick County jail on $500,000 bond. If convicted, Barriss faces two to 11 years in prison.
Well, as it would have it, Barriss popped up on Twitter a few days ago, and what did he do? He threatened to swat someone in his Twitter stream (NSFW language). It would also seem that Barriss’ internet access has since been terminated. Now only Kansas would terminate Mr. Barris. Barris claims to have swatted and sent bomb threats to over 100 homes and institutions. Thanks Jeff T. for the link.
