Prime Video is bringing in millions of customers for Amazon (WARNING auto play video), according to internal documents from Amazon that Reuters reviewed. These documents reveal numbers that Amazon has never released to the public and they are eye-opening when you analyze what they are saying. Top shows like “The Man in the High Castle” brought in 1.15M new customers worldwide for Amazon. If you do the math the amount of subscriptions more than made up for the production costs of that popular show. Overall I’d have to say that Mr. Bezos has a real winner on his hands with Prime Video and his plan to take over the entire world is progressing well.



Video has grown to be one of Amazon’s biggest expenditures at $5 billion per year for original and licensed content, two people familiar with the matter said. The company has never disclosed how many subscribers it won as a result, making it hard for investors to evaluate its programming decisions.
