InsideVR and HardOCP just got done putting together a 4GHz AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X “Video Village” box to handle live video production of two simultaneous live streams with 5 HD ISO cameras recording @ 75Mbs while editing on Premier and After Effects in HD and 4K. There is a 512GB Samsung M.2 drive there for OS and a 1.2TB Intel 750 PCIe SSD for recording. Tucked in the back of the Corsair 270R case is are another three 4TB drives for archiving on the fly. The cooler is an Enermax LiqTech TR4 360. All of this is parked on an ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme with a 1200 watt Thermaltake Toughpower Grand plugged in.
