Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds contains unique replay technology that allows replays in 3D instead of the usual 2D. This tech comes from a South Korean company called Minkonet and PUBG is the first big game they have put their technology into. I haven’t played PUBG, however, the tech looks really cool and I can see other games utlizing this in the future. You should check out the tech in the video below if you haven’t played PUBG.



It definitely won’t be the last. According to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Gilbert Kim, Minkonet’s phone has been ringing off the hook since the PUBG announcement, with studios around the world wanting a piece of the replay pie.
