Toshiba has announced the new XG5-P NVMe SSD that promises fast speeds in capacities up to 2TB. The M.2 gumstick style NVMe SSD is based on 64-layer 3D BiCS NAND memory and Toshiba says that it’s tuned for an improved full access range of random read/write performance with gains of up to 55% compared to standard Toshiba XG5 SSDs.
