Jon Burton, the lead programmer for 1996’s Sonic 3-D Blast, is making a more polished version of this classic video game. This version is being made available as a patch that can be installed into a ROM of the Sega Genesis version, and then played on a Genesis emulator. This should be of interest to Sega fans everywhere since it’s supposed to improve on the original. Give it a try when it comes out if you’re into retro gaming. Watch the director’s cut video below.
