Oculus is announcing its Oculus Go, a standalone VR headset priced at $200 and is promised to be available in early 2018. Keep in mind that this sort of HMD is for those that do not have a smartphone that can act as a screen for use in the current “phone holder” headsets. And keep in mind that you do not have motion controllers with these types of VR experiences, so interaction is at a minimum. But as far as “watching” in VR, these can certainly be immersive.
