Totally not tech related in any way. But you have to wonder if a handful of Mentos could have disarmed him. Had he shot the guy he was robbing, would a guy in a Dr. Pepper costume showed up? Has corn syrup played a…uh…never mind, I will stop there before I further embarrass myself.
