Meet the new Ceo for Uber. Expedia CEO Dara Khosrowshahi is taking on the role of CEO for Uber. Early this year, Uber has been burdened with a few controversies even leading to the ousting of its founder and former CEO Travis Kalanick. Kalanick and the board of Uber are currently facing contentions in court.



Uber investors and analysts have praised the board’s selection of Khosrowshahi, 48, who is widely seen as a steady manager with a calming influence, knows how to please Wall Street and will take a hard line on workplace misconduct that Uber has developed a bad name for, especially sexual harassment.
