So I just paid more money for a Gentle Typhoon fan than I ever have before. My refrigerator crapped out on me a couple days ago, and after giving it a look as to what was wrong, I decided it was above my paygrade since I could see the burned electronics down on the PCB. The repair guy came back and handed me the fan below and let me know that its failure caused the heat issues. Not only is the first time I have had a Gentle Typhoon fan fail, it is the first time I have paid more than $20 for one!



Yes, I tried to find the “right” model to replace this one with, but I could not find the exact matching voltage or amperage, so I wussed out and paid the piper. And the boss did not seem too excited about the fridge being down a couple more days while I dicked around with saving $50 either. At least the Amazon one was $60 less than what GE wanted for it (and was out of stock). Anyway, I thought it was amusing that my refrigerator had the same brand of fans as my main PC.
