I ran into some issues with the prototype RayStorm kit yesterday when we went to mount the block on the Threadripper. Some of the threads on the hardware were beat up and would not install. We let XSPC know so that it can follow up. I am going to change around a bit of hardware here and use some of my own, which should be fine however. This is a quick pic of the first test mount. Used a lot of TIM to see how it was going to flow. CPU was never powered on, so no heat was applied. Looks to be an excellent mate considering the mount and the lack of heat. We will get it running this morning and follow up this afternoon hopefully.
I think my monthly budget for TIM is going to have to be increased….
