Instead of touchscreens, the UPS will now be training its delivery drivers using VR headsets: the HTC Vive, for instance, will be used at nine of its teaching facilities to show road and hazard simulations, preparing students for navigating among pedestrians, parked cars, and oncoming traffic. I heard that their drivers make good money, but the complaints are endless.



UPS will start training student delivery drivers to spot and identify road hazards using Virtual Reality headsets that vividly simulate the experience of driving on city streets while teaching a more memorable classroom lesson.
