Do you remember your first beheading video? I have seen so many of those over the years they all blend together…except the recent ones with child-ISIS soldiers doing the dirty work, but that is another story. Most HardOCP readers are mired in tech and know where to look if you want to see the “real news” going on around the world, news that is not sanitized for your delicate sensibilities, as to give you a sense that horrible atrocities still do happen every single day in our ever-advanced 21st century. Apparently some folks at Facebook are getting a big dose of reality.



For the first time, Facebook opened up its Berlin centre for deleting hateful or violent content, providing journalists with a glimpse into the workers’ everyday dealings with decapitation videos, racist propaganda and child pornography.

“I still remember the first beheading video – I turned it off, went outside and wept a little bit,” said one female employee.
