Three testimonials are currently featured on the official Denuvo site, and people are finding Square Enix’s quote amusing. Apparently, the Deus Ex and Final Fantasy publisher thinks that PC gamers do not buy games and pirate everything. Of course, this could just be sarcasm, considering the state of Denuvo these days.



Square Enix congratulated Denuvo, claiming that thanks to this anti-tamper tech, people now have to buy their games. Ouch. Here is Square Enix’s full quote: “Thanks to you for the incredible service your team provide – it’s great to partner with you! It’s thanks to you guys that people have to buy the game.” Ironically, and as we’ve already stated, even the latest version of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech has been cracked. Still, Square Enix’s quote implies that PC gamers are pirates and that they wouldn’t buy games otherwise.
