It’s getting a little old by now, but Denuvo has once again shown its incompetence by failing to protect Namco’s latest fighter. Naturally, we are left to wonder whether the company will just give in and remove the “anti-tamper” tech entirely from Tekken 7. Since the game has gotten excellent reviews and the developers have supposedly done a splendid job on the port, my hope for a new Soul Calibur on PC is greater than ever.
Tekken 7 was released on June 2nd and has been cracked in just four days, making it the faster Denuvo-powered game that has been cracked so far. Both Resident Evil VII and RiME were cracked in five days, whereas Mass Effect: Andromeda and PREY were cracked in ten days. As said, Tekken 7 is awesome and contrary to the PS4 version, the online mode in the PC version – apart from some “connection lost” issues – works incredibly well. Here is hoping that Bandai Namco will quickly react to this by removing the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from the game.
