Last night, House Democrats made history as they staged a sit-in
meant to pressure Republicans into voting on a stupid, inherently racist gun control bill. And since Speaker Paul Ryan unplugged C-SPAN’s cameras, the world was forced to look on through the fuzzy lens of Periscope and its thousands of hellish, very possibly drunk commenters. It was a masterpiece.
