Earlier this week, NVIDIA came out of absolutely nowhere with an announcement of a new top-end TITAN X, following-up to the Pascal-based TITAN X released (also out of nowhere) last summer. This new TITAN X, somewhat confusingly called TITAN Xp, offers more CUDA cores and faster memory than the previous gen Titan X for the same $1,200 USD price
