Drone warfare has long been one of the United States’ key weapons in the War on Terror, but the Islamic State recently managed to carry out a drone strike of their own. Last week, an aerial vehicle “the size of a model airplane” reportedly exploded after getting shot down by Kurdish forces in Iraq, killing two fighters.
